Storage and handling
Lyophilised peptides are stable when kept dry and cold, and degrade when they are not. What follows concerns sealed vials in transit and in storage. It is not guidance on preparing or using material, which we do not provide.
- Sealed, lyophilised, desiccated
- Material ships as a lyophilised powder in a sealed vial. Moisture is the principal enemy of a dry peptide.
- Cold chain in transit
- Shipments are packed cold. Transit conditions are recorded against the shipment rather than assumed.
- Storage conditions on the account
- The conditions a lot is held under are documented on the account, so a question about a lot months later has an answer.
- Lot traceability
- Lot numbers are recorded against every shipment, which is what makes a later certificate query answerable at all.
What we do not publish
We do not publish reconstitution procedures, concentrations, dosing or administration guidance, and we do not answer questions seeking them. That is a condition of supplying research material, not a matter of preference.
