Terms of use
Last updated 5 October 2026
These terms govern your use of mossbench.com. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, do not use the site.
Research use only
Everything Mossbench offers is supplied for laboratory research use only. Materials are not for human or veterinary consumption, and are not for clinical, diagnostic or therapeutic use. They are not drugs and not medical devices, and no regulator has approved them for treating anything. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and nothing on this site describes a health outcome.
We do not publish or supply dosing, protocols, reconstitution procedures, concentrations or administration guidance, and we do not answer questions seeking them. This is a condition of supply, not a preference.
Who may open an account
Accounts are opened for organisations that can state a research application and stand behind it. Qualification happens before any quote is issued. Account holders attest that they are at least 21 and authorised to procure, that they understand the research-use-only basis of supply, that the application they state is accurate, that they hold the licences their market requires, and that they will not resupply materials for administration to people or animals.
Prohibited uses
- Administering material to a person or an animal, or supplying it to anyone who intends to.
- Misstating your organisation, licence, or research application in order to obtain supply.
- Reselling or redistributing material outside the terms of an approved account.
- Presenting Mossbench materials as approved medicines, or making therapeutic claims about them.
- Attempting to circumvent qualification, interfering with the site, or submitting automated or abusive inquiries.
We refuse orders inconsistent with the application stated on an account, and we close accounts that breach these terms.
This site does not sell
There is no price list and no checkout here. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell. An inquiry is a request to be considered for an account; it does not oblige us to supply, and it does not oblige you to buy. A supply contract is formed only when an account is approved and written terms are issued for it, and those terms — including price, delivery, title, risk and the law governing that contract — are the ones that apply to any supply. Where they and this page differ, those terms govern.
Accuracy of what is published here
Identity data on compound pages is taken from PubChem and cited to it, so it can be checked against a source that is not us. It describes a compound, not a particular lot. The figures that describe material you receive are the figures on that lot's certificate of analysis, not the figures on this website. The specimen certificate shown on the home page is a layout illustration and does not describe a real lot.
Regulated markets
Registration, import licensing and professional credentials are the account holder's responsibility to hold and ours to verify. Some compounds are restricted or unavailable in some markets, and supply that cannot meet a market's requirements is declined. Nothing here is a representation that a compound may lawfully be imported into or used in your country.
No warranty, and limits on liability
The site is provided as it is. We take care to be accurate and we correct errors when we find them, but we do not warrant that the site is complete, current or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent the law allows, Mossbench is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site, nor for any loss arising from use of material in a way these terms prohibit. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Our content
The text, layout, design and photography of this site belong to Mossbench. Compound names, chemical identifiers and data cited to PubChem are not ours and are reproduced as public scientific fact. You may quote short extracts with attribution; you may not republish the site wholesale.
Changes, and the rest
We may change these terms; the date at the top moves when we do, and the version in force is the one published when you use the site. If any provision is unenforceable the remainder stands. Questions about these terms: [email protected].
